Prevention of New Intramammary Infections During the Dry Period
Sureseal is a proven intramammary teat sealant designed for dairy cows at drying off. It helps prevent new intramammary infections during the non-lactating (dry) period and reduces the risk of mastitis post-calving.
For cows considered free of sub-clinical mastitis, Sureseal may be used on its own as part of a dry cow management program. In cows with sub-clinical infections, it can be used in combination with antibiotic therapy under veterinary guidance.

Cow Selection Guidelines
Veterinary clinical judgement should be used when selecting cows for treatment. Selection may be based on:
-
Mastitis history
-
Somatic cell count records (all counts below 250,000 cells/mL in the last 3 recordings)
-
Recognised sub-clinical mastitis tests
-
Bacteriological sampling
Withdrawal Periods

Usage Recommendation
Sureseal is most effective when used as part of a whole-herd mastitis control plan. Work with your veterinarian to integrate it into your dry cow therapy strategy.
