Description

Coxaclear 50 mg/ml Oral Suspension for Cattle & Sheep

Coxaclear is an effective treatment and prevention solution for coccidiosis (caused by Eimeria bovis or Eimeria zuernii) in calves, cattle, and sheep. It serves as a highly reliable alternative to Vecoxan, helping to protect your herd from this costly and harmful disease. Coccidiosis can cause severe illness and even death, but with Coxaclear , you can treat existing cases and prevent future outbreaks.

What is Coccidiosis?

Coccidiosis is a highly contagious disease that primarily affects calves between one and six months old, though older cattle can also be infected. It is caused by a microscopic parasite that multiplies in the intestine. Infected animals shed eggs through their faeces, contaminating soil and grass, which then spreads the disease to others. Coccidiosis remains one of the most common and costly diseases faced by farmers.

Symptoms of Coccidiosis

🔹 Diarrhoea (sometimes with blood or mucus)
🔹 Rough coat & poor condition
🔹 Loss of appetite & weight loss
🔹 Weakness & lethargy

How Coxaclear Works

The active ingredient in Coxaclear is Toltrazuril, which targets all stages of coccidiosis (including schizonts, microgamonts, and macrogamonts). In calves, Coxaclear eliminates the parasite while still allowing the animal to build natural immunity against future infections.
