Description

Buyrite 24-18 milk replacer is formulated primarily from dairy-derived proteins, reflected in its extremely low crude fibre content of just 0.1%. This ensures excellent digestibility, even for very young calves from 7 days of age.

To further support digestion, the formula includes hydrolysed wheat gluten, a highly digestible plant-based protein that is gentle on the developing stomach of young calves.

For optimal gut health, the product also contains probiotics, helping to promote a balanced intestinal flora and improved digestive performance.

The fat component is incorporated using a spray-drying process, which enhances fat absorption and overall energy utilization.

When choosing a milk replacer, it’s important to understand the source of the protein. Many products may have high protein percentages, but much of this often comes from vegetable proteins such as soya or standard wheat gluten. These are less digestible for calves and can contribute to scours, bloat, and metabolic stress.

This product differs by using dairy proteins as the main source, supported by hydrolysed wheat gluten—one of the few plant proteins proven to be easily digestible and suitable for young calves.
